I'm sure this is just a partial list. There has to more dates being worked on. At least I hope so.

I'm thinking that too. Plus there is always the 2nd leg of the tour. How far is the Cleveland show for you?

About 65 miles away. Same for a Pittsburgh show if he comes there. The closest arena would be in Youngstown but that's way too small for the Boss.

After being on Ticketmaster for what seems like forever, I finally got seats for Bruce Springsteen for the IZOD Center!

Ticket site slammed with traffic as New York, New Jersey dates go on sale

      By Matthew Perpetua
      January 27, 2012 1:55 PM ET

Several concerts on Bruce Springsteen's forthcoming spring tour – mainly in the rocker's home state of New Jersey – went on sale today, resulting in traffic-related issues for Ticketmaster that have kept many fans shut out from purchasing tickets. Earlier this afternoon, Springsteen put a message on his official site letting his fans know that he was aware many of them were having trouble buying tickets, and sharing the following message from Ticketmaster:

"We have been experiencing highly abnormal traffic patterns on our site this morning that have impacted the fan buying experience for some customers. We are investigating the source of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible, but tickets are selling so please stay patient. We will update fans as we know more."

Springsteen wasn't the only high-profile act with gigs on sale today. Tickets for Roger Waters' performance of The Wall at Yankee Stadium also went on sale this afternoon, along with Florence and the Machine dates and a rare U.S. appearance by Pulp at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.

This isn't the first time East Coast fans have dealt with Ticketmaster glitches related to Bruce Springsteen tickets. Back in 2009, fans attempting to get seats for the singer's shows on Long Island and in New Jersey were greeted with error messages immediately upon the tickets going on sale and were redirected to Ticketmaster's subsidiary TicketsNow, which specializes in selling tickets above face value. This led New York senator Charles Schumer to introduce ticket legislation intended to curb secondary-market ticket sites by insisting on a two-day waiting period before putting new tickets on sale.

Tickets for today's Springsteen shows are already available on sites such as StubHub.

Springsteen's popularity brought Ticketmaster down to a slow crawl and almost completely down.

Denied. Sold out before we got through. Besides we were kind of taken aback by the price. Started at $124! I have a hard time justifying that price for one night. And the wife wanted to go as well so now we're talking $248. Just can't pull the trigger on that kind of cost.

That sucks. They were $98 for us but after all was said and done they came to $114 each. He should be back around during the 2nd leg. I'll probably get them then too.

Oh and the crappiest seats were going for $68. But most major draws are going to cost you so it's what I expected.

To tell the truth, I haven't been to a "major" artist concert since 1999 when I saw John Mellencamp and that was at an outdoor amphitheater where the lawns seats were $20. Since then the only "name" group I've seen were the Doobie Brothers at an outdoor show that only had about 1,000 people at it. (front row seats, it was fantastic!) Since the prices started going through the roof, we've stayed away from concerts. Although truth be told, if we had the money, we'd drop it for the Boss. But with going to where he's playing, be it Pittsburgh or Cleveland, you're also talking a hotel room for the night. So now the cost rises to at least $400 for tickets and a room. And we haven't even included food and booze! If I spend that much, I'd better have backstage passes and dinner with Bruce. (kidding)
