    Default Newbie Here

    Hi everyone

I'm a 45 year old Canadian music lover. Not just classic rock. I'm into a lot of different stuff including, R&B, Jazz, older pop, classical, some country, but Classic rock is my first love.

Some of my favourites are Frank Zappa, obviously, Elton John, Queen, Steely Dan, The Beatles, Yes, Genesis, Judas Priest, James Taylor, Peter Gabriel, Stones, Rory Gallagher, Pink Floyd, Rush, Paul McCartney, Todd Rungren, Robin Trower, Styx, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Chicago, Paul Simon, PaCat Stevens and many more.

    See ya in the threads.
Don't you boys know any nice songs?

    Welcome friend!

Looking at your list, I left so many off of mine.

You're quite welcome :) At least two of you right in this forum. The only thing that made me realize you weren't an alias is that you didn't mention Classic Van Halen. Oh yeah, and DJ's way too cool to need an alias :)

I like them a bit before Hagar joined, but they're not up near the top of my regular listening habits.

You can quote me on it.

I saw them in '82 and '84. They are so bad live, it's hard to find the words to describe it.

    Welcome Mr Goose!

What part of Canada are you living in?

And yes, i can't find the words to express how much I appreciate and worship at the temple of Zappa...

    Welcome Packard Goose
If I’m able to offend you so easily, to me that means you already recognize some truth in what I’ve written, but you aren’t ready to face it consciously yet. If you read something from me that provokes an emotional reaction, then a seed has already been planted. In other words, it’s already too late for you.

Another Canuck,eh? Hope you're cooler than the other canuck who posts here. He dines on the cosmic utensil.
Zappa went to high school in my hometown of Lancaster , California. Capt. Beefhart lived there for many years also. Zappa lived in Sun Village. Now it's been annexad by Palmdale. The city next to Lancaster.

C-Dog stop. Take it to PM. Enough is enough. Fooling around, sparring is one thing but that was an uncalled for comment about DJ.

The cosmic utensil is a Zappa reference. I was trying to be hip with the new canuck. Unless canuck is the insult. In that case I apologize to Packard Goose.
