Newbie Here

Hi everyone

I'm a 45 year old Canadian music lover. Not just classic rock. I'm into a lot of different stuff including, R&B, Jazz, older pop, classical, some country, but Classic rock is my first love.

Some of my favourites are Frank Zappa, obviously, Elton John, Queen, Steely Dan, The Beatles, Yes, Genesis, Judas Priest, James Taylor, Peter Gabriel, Stones, Rory Gallagher, Pink Floyd, Rush, Paul McCartney, Todd Rungren, Robin Trower, Styx, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Chicago, Paul Simon, PaCat Stevens and many more.

You're quite welcome :) At least two of you right in this forum. The only thing that made me realize you weren't an alias is that you didn't mention Classic Van Halen. Oh yeah, and DJ's way too cool to need an alias :)

I like them a bit before Hagar joined, but they're not up near the top of my regular listening habits.

I saw them in '82 and '84. They are so bad live, it's hard to find the words to describe it.

Zappa went to high school in my hometown of Lancaster , California. Capt. Beefhart lived there for many years also. Zappa lived in Sun Village. Now it's been annexad by Palmdale. The city next to Lancaster.
