Welcome. And you are correct it is a nice place!
If I’m able to offend you so easily, to me that means you already recognize some truth in what I’ve written, but you aren’t ready to face it consciously yet. If you read something from me that provokes an emotional reaction, then a seed has already been planted. In other words, it’s already too late for you.

Is this a joke? Dr. Pepper is a bullshit knockoff of Mr. Pibb.

You're violating the upper right rule and possibly the upper left.

Nope. I hope your reply was a joke though.
Dr Pepper=It is America's unique flavor and was created, manufactured and sold beginning in 1885 in the Central Texas town of Waco.
Mr Pibb=Mr. PiBB was born in the summer of 1972 after The Coca-Cola Company had the intention of creating a drink that would rival the growing success of Dr Pepper in Southern markets.

But it's all small change to me I can't stand neither one. Yuck.

Mr. Pibb has a much more complex and pleasing flavor. That's why Dr. Pepper copies it now. And the dude who created it wasn't even a doctor.

    And it's from Texas. Period.

What's your beef with Texas? Actually apparently Pibb wasn't doing so well so they changed the formulation and called it Pibb Xtra.

If It's from Texas it must be good. But Dr Thunder (available at Walmart) is the real magilla. Sam Waltons great grandpappy invented it years before Dr Pepper ever hit the market.

And people still call it Mr. Pibb, even young kids who weren't even around before the name changed. Can't stand Dr. Pepper, but love Mr. Pibb. Wish they would make it in diet.

Even if they did it would taste different and you wouldn't like it as much. My problem is some artificial sweeteners make me naseous. Coke put out a lesser calorie coke with half the sugar that didn't make me sick but it didn't last. I've read studies where they say diet sodas aren't any better for you than regular soda anyway. Never made any sense to me that drinking one 280 calorie coke was worse than drinking an entire truck load of zero calorie cokes.

The only good thing about Texas is the food. We should steal all their cows and flood the rest of it. Give the people in the midwest a beach.

People who don't mind the fog? There's nothing wrong with that.
