Hey guys and gals! I got these questions from jadedblu

1st hello rockers from this site! U have a great place here! Now when I'm in a thread or in the posts ect random spots all the sudden I'm off the site & put back to my bookmark page! I have to keep going back into the site! Also why can't I play any games? It shows who's high score and the keys to use and object of game but nowhere to start it! I have a blackberry torch 8900 through att unlimited data thanx

I was hoping someone could help with the Arcade question since I don't use the Arcade much at all.

    Thanks!

As far as the first part of the question:

Are you using a proxy? That screws up a site visually. Secondly, you should run some diagnostics on your computer because that is not normal behavior for a computer.

From what I've been able to gather, not only is jadedblu using a proxy, but also is using a dial-up connection. If that is the case, it's a wonder the user can even log on to the site.

Well there's the problem. Proxy AND dial-up. I didn't even know dial-up was still available!

The way these connections go, the spread of broadband optic is pretty much like cable was back in the late seventies/early eighties. We didn't get MTV until sometime in 1983 or so, and basically had to go to a friend's house in a neighboring town to see it. Hell, I have friends in Northern Florida (as well as Texas) whose AT&T packages do not even offer internet service!

as far as the arcade goes, I was able to enter, (first time)
click on the name of a game, and have it come right up....

Now I know nothing about how this site is set up, but when I ran a forum,
someone had to have posted X number of times before using the arcade....
    Could that be the problem?

I don't remember if I put a post minimum on the Arcade. I've actually have been very gracious in giving members things that have to be earned or paid for on other sites. That being said I just don't remember.

This site runs like a fine oiled machine.

tidbit: People if you're at work just go back to your home page and clear your cookies then you be logged into the site but they'll be no evidence on the computer that if you were ever here.

i only mention this because I just logged in and as i was doing so i notice Christine was logged in and i was going to say 'hello' and then all of a sudden she wasn't even logged in anymore.

no reason to log off the site like that

There is no per se advantage or disadvantage. Some members are just saying that if you leave the site to do something else, whether it's computer related or not, there's no reason to physically log off the site. Stay logged in.

Unless you're at work, But, there actually is a way around that.
